Inter Milan have made it clear they have no plans to sign Marcos Alonso, although the player could leave on a free transfer.

Inter Milan president Giuseppe Marotta has denied reports the Nerazzurri are interest in signing Marcos Alonso after the 33-year-old left-back’s contract with Barcelona expires, Ufabet Sport reported on Saturday. 

Alonso is available on a free transfer when his contract with Barcelona expires on June 30 and the 33-year-old left-back has been link with a number of clubs, สมัคร ufabet including Inter Milan, but Marotta has insisted the club have no plans to sign the player. 

‘I read a lot of stories and names of players, including Marcos Alonso, but I can rule him out because we have a strong team,’ Marotta said.

Previous reports have suggest that Alonso could end up at Atletico Madrid on a one-year deal, but if the 33-year-old left-back wants a longer deal, he could be tempte to move to Saudi Arabia.

Now that the Inter option seems unlikely, Marcos Alonso will need to search for a new team in the upcoming weeks to continue his career. While Atlético de Madrid was consider, no concrete interest has materialize. Just three weeks ago, he expressed uncertainty about his future during an event for ALS ‘The Battle of Stars’ at the Pula Golf in Son Servera (Mallorca).
